~Just ate dinner, watched some Friends, and reviewed my notes for a psych class for college. Its super warm today, which is extremely confusing, to say the least. After all, we just experienced Sandy, snow, the nor'easter, and 50 something degree weather, all in less than one month. Mother nature is getting hormonal, it seems. My sister went to work out at the gym, but she had to go to a different branch, because her usual branch was most likely affected by the hurricane. My mom, sister, and I went outside after lunch to see what was selling in our neighborhood community. Stores were opened, gallivanting clothes from one location to the other, on separate clothes stands within one street. Soaking wet shoes and boots(the oh so popular Ugg boots) were being sold for $60. Before dinner my mom did her exercise on the balcony like a good little girl. She repeatedly keeps telling my sister and I , "Go do some exercise before you eat, you know its good for you!". By now this sounds like a broken record but her works are crisp and clear, always making sense whether we respond politely or not. I've heard some new music these days, and gosh the lyrics to some of these songs, are they really necessary? Like Christina Aguilar's new song Your Body, it has some dirty connotations. And not just connotations, the words full on express intimate situations. I mean I know people desire to express themselves in every which way possible, and while I'm all for expression, I am after all a ballet dancer so I should understand, sharing your intimate desires, those things should be done in private, just saying. There really is a need for some boundaries and limitations. Borders are sometimes a good thing people! It gives you privacy and a piece of mind. You need to maintain a sense of dignity, self-respect, confidence, and self-awareness. The public accepts it unyielding, to no surprise. Other than that, the song is catchy and mechanistically hedonistic, just like a typical pop song should be. So we're on the verge of desperately needing a new car. Ours broke down during hurricane sandy, and it was totaled. Totally unexpected and unrealistically so. We cleaned it out a few days ago so these people who collect junk parts from cars could pick it up and use some parts, if any. My sister just came back, picked up her goldfish and proudly announced that she was going to eat them. Typical. She just had hot chocolate too. Yumm. She bakes really well, too. I should tell her to bake some cookies. We do that sometimes, but not too often. It isn't too healthy.~

Daily Goal: Read some more of my book, review some psych notes
Daily Word: Nictitate means to wink...who would have thought, seriously!
